Let's not pass judgement on the pitch until a decent attack has bowled on it.

For UK viewers who don't want to watch David Gower complain about the fact that no one told him to score big hundreds instead of getting out for pretty 30s, Sri Lanka v Australia is on Eurosport 2 (Sky 411). Or you could just watch Liverpool v Arsenal.

Lord Gah moaning might be preferrable to the latter. Very uninspring stuff.

The weather here in South London is suddenly glorious. Reminds me of a crap song by Crowded ****e.

I am just glad this isn't a 5 test series, couldn't stand another pathetic display by India. They will probably win the one dayers and the fanboys will claim they are gods again.
Why are you posting like this? What does this achieve?

****ing CC areas of CW have absolutely gone to the doldrums.

Sun blazing now. Wouldn't be suprised to see them back out by 4:20 to be honest if thats it for the rain.

Yep - we're done with the weather. Instant declaration or slog up to 650?

Suppose it depends on the playing conditions. One would hope there will be no tea break...

I've gone from a disappointed fan to not giving a **** in the space of two test matches. Have barely watched an hours worth of cricket in the last two games.
Dhoni should never have been diplomatic and recalled Bell.

India always come out better out of such controversies and would have given some fight to the Indian team like it did last time in Australia and brought them together.

England win pretty good value I'd have thought. 12/5 or better. India haven't even managed 300 yet and they're up against 591/6 declared.

Think you'd call that an eventful first over. Sehwag creams two fours through the covers and Jimmeh pins him bang in front last ball. 8/1.

 Sehwag is so **** in England.

They will follow on here, no doubt.

How long till Laxman is out caught in the deep flicking off his hip ?
