nightwatchman, joke tbh, if they were to protect eoin, throw in Broad or Bres, they could at least go on.

I know they like to keep things professional but they should have asked the dressing room, who fancy's going out and smashing some runs in the last 20 minutes.

Have to say it's been a pretty bloody ordinary effort from India from what I've seen over the last hour and a half.

Don't want to be too much of a **** about it, but the lack of heart and pride from them has been very, very disappointing.

RP Singh looks about the worst test seamer of the English summer too, which is no small effort given the competition. Just doesn't look a Fletcher player at all (Praveen doesn't either, tbf, but can bat and Big Dunc likes his multi faceted players), so the selection seems an odd one. Overweight, slow and (as an average of 6.5 suggests) is a ferret too.

Munaf would be right to be aggreived given he was rated the better bowler before the tour and RP (apparently) hasn't played FC cricket since Jan.

This is just awful. India getting belted all over the park and the worst part is that they don't seem to be able to do anything to stop it. I hope England declare soon and wrap India up for less than 200 in both innings to wrap up a 4-0 Whitewash.

I don't mind that India have lost. It is just the way that they have lost is very very disappointing. I think everybody expected better.

I'd say the emergence of Jimmy Anderson shows that the plan is to bat long into tomorrow. Worried about the rain though.

India gave up trying on day 3 at Trent Bridge. Since then, they have played worse than any minnow that has ever existed.

If this was Bangladesh, we'd be calling for their test status to be revoked.

given the miserable forecast, I think if england bat for too long it'll be a draw.

india wont score more than 600 in their two innings without a doubt.

the lower order is full of bunnies. tail starts at 6

if england don't win this test, southafrica will need a 1-0 result against Aus and a 3-0 against srilanka (or 2-0 v aus and 2-0 v srilanka) to regain the top position- seems quite possible.

I noticed this. Will be gutting if we lose top spot so soon.

SA's tour of England next year should be massive. But a 3 match series is a joke.

reckon it'll be 1-1.
can't see southafrica not winning at least 1 test considering their attack. however, if they are a bowler down (steyn or morkel), then england will win.
