Warne's bang on the money about Bopara being too loose for a test no 3.

Edit: goneskyyyy

You can hardly blame us for being pessimistic when our tail starts at 3 and we still insist on picking Stuart Broad.
And yet your still 1-0 up. Australia should of finished your mob off in Cardiff, but couldn't do so, I wouldn't lose confidence. Try being a New Zealand cricket fan (despite the fact I live in Australia, I still support the Black Caps) and haven't won a Test against Test standard teams in over 18 months and nearly lost a Test to Bangladesh.

So HTFU.

Err the sun is out and the forecast is good for the entire game.

Looked pretty gloomy to me. Suppose sunshine to an Englishman is, erm, different to someone from Australia.

And Hilfenhaus was swinging the the ball. If he was swinging it then Anderson would have been able to do the same plus more.

Its hardly a batsmen's paradise out there.

And the point I was making was if England did a straight swap replacement for Flintoff with bowler why bat first? Why not play to your strengths? Due to injuries this English batting team is weak. Why expose it?

We are still 1-0 up because Aus would more than likely be 2 wickets down atm too if they had batted first.

The ball is hooping.

It is irrelevant. Give me 11 **** players and I wont complain as long as those 11 are the best in the country. When players like Broad get selected and you go in with 6 batters when exactly 1 of them is proven while another is a keeper it just is pissing off.

Hilf getting the reward for some excellent bowling so far, but what a ****e shot was that from Bops, I think Jimmy has more decent technique than him...

Wicket looks good for batting. I can just see a repeat of the South African test from last year, inept English batting followed by the opposition cashing in.

How is Collingwood not proven (I assume you mean Strauss)? Adelaide 1st innings in 2006 comes to mind.

Some comment on cricinfo about Hilf's foot sliding over the line, so it should've been a no ball. I always thought the no-ball law was about where your foot landed, and where it slides to is irrelevant. Is that right?
