*Official* Fourth Test at Chester-le-Street

For the series your saying? Don't forget last Test in the second innings we were trying to smash it and although not a huge period, England's second innings they were just trying to draw the game and wait for rain so you have to look at these things a bit too.

Of course Aussie bats have been more aggressive on the whole apart from KP and Englands tail.

Great nut Bresnan, game is even once again.
yea series averages.

got cash on clarkey producing more than 95.5 points this match so hopefully he gudes us home,

The bowling will stay the same at the Oval FTR. Bresnan is the supposed weak link, but he's been the most consistent seamer since Lords. Anderson will have had further rest time by the start of the five test.

I don't think the fact it was a must win game means anything, they weren't picked because the selectors/Clarke/Arthur thought that Johnson and Hastings would do better, due to Siddle and Hilf's workload. It was only the third test in the series, but they'd done a lot of bowling just a few days before due to Patto breaking down.

In a way, Patto breaking down didn't just cost you guys the Adelaide test, it cost you the Perth one as well, because Siddle and Hilf wouldn't have had to have bowled as much at Adelaide. Of course, that doesn't mean they would've won at Perth, but it would've given them a better chance.
I didn't mind Johnson playing at the WACA, but losing both quicks seemed a bit much at the time. Agree with the rest though Patto's injury came at the wrong time.

131 runs still required here, I'm starting to think about those 13 runs from Smith's dropped catch.

I meant a chance to play at The Oval. Just to share the workload around a little more.
If he plays at the Oval, I'll ****ing cry, I genuinely think Trego is a better bowler. Would name so many ahead of him it would become embarassing, and annoy PEWS.

I thought my panicked England XI selections were bad, Boycs on TMS is calling for Cook and Trott to be dropped. Not Bairstow, apparently "Jonny is playing okay", but Cook and Trott look completely out of knick and should be dropped. Wise words.
Well he clearly didn't say Cook should be dropped.

Is it just stubbornness that's keeping Watson from coming in at 5? Smith is not a no. 5 batsman ffs..he's done well this series but Watson should've been coming in before him. Unless he's too precious to bat in failing light.
