Yesterday Carey stumped Johnny & Mo

The last time a visiting wicketkeeper affected two (or more) stumpings in a Test innings in England was Ian Healy at Headingley in 1993

Healy also hold record of 6 Dismissal at Edgbaston

Need a word with Burgeinho about his gf having her 21st birthday party from 7pm tonight, encompassing he back end of the Parra-Manly game then the start of day two here. Pretty thoughtless of her imho
My advice to Burge Jnr would be to axe her altogether. Plenty of time for that once his best cricketing days are behind him. You can't juggle work/uni, cricket and a woman, and the first two take precedent.

We should be going out today on 420-8 looking for 450 and hoping Root can get 150 instead we are looking for wickets on a hot day in the field. Braindead declaration, that is all that you can call it.

The only way we'd have approved was if Aus were 10-2 at the close. Root was looking so comfortable, he'd utterly broken Lyon and even Robinson was playing sensibly. 450 was there for the taking. As Nick Knight sensibly pointed out later during the T20 game, the thing he hated most as an opener was waiting for the last wicket to fall because you never quite knew when you were off the field.
