Baz should tell Stokes to just try to commit aggravated assault on the ball, he'd connect with a few.

State Captain
Brook should bat at no.3. Root is 32 and only has maybe 4-5 years left, so the best bat going forward will be Brook.

Norwood's on Fire
I hope Barstool gets some runs here because he's fun when he gets going but mostly because that would make him undroppable for the whole series regardless of how many he drops. Clearly no one remembers Sarfraz Ahmed against NZ last winter.
Eh, him being dropped won't happen but could easily take the gloves off him

Most Stumpings in an Ashes Test in England :

4 - John Blackham (AUS) @ Lords 1888

3- James Kelly (AUS) @ Old Trafford 1896
Arthur Lilley (ENG) @ Trent Bridge 1905
Godfrey Evans (ENG) @ Old Trafford 1953
Alan Knott (ENG) @ Headingley 1968
Alex Carey (AUS) @ Edgbaston 2023

Carey in good company 👌

Australia need to take a leaf out of England's book and have a bit of a crack at making something happen here. Bowling the same ball over and over and hoping for a different result isn't going to cut it.

The way Brook plays that Jessop record will go to him at some stage. Think it is inevitable.

Oh look, scared so trying to change ball.
