Well, on the plus side, Agar's using a mate's bat brand that he only started up a year and a half ago. Played at the same club as Agar in Melbourne, signed him up and now playing Test cricket.

Very similar side to Australia really; potent young bowling attack without the batting lineup to back it up. All hope of making a good score against a decent attack in decent bowling conditions lies with one bloke in the middle order.
Clarke's a league above Taylor and Starc's got a lot more potential than Wagner but there's no a lot to separate the sides at the moment other than that, and the gulf between Taylor and Clarke is arguably made up by McCullum and Williamson being worth a bit more than the rest of Australia's middle order anyway.

Well well. Thta's really poor from the Aussies. Also good bowling by Anderson and Swann.
I can't see a 30+ 10th wicket partnership. and I can't see Cook, Trott, Pietersen, Bel & Prior getting out to poor strokes again, al least not all 5 of them. I guess England will take this game away in a rather unspectacular way, during the rest of the day.
