Thank **** we got a bowl in these conditions. Would've been depressing to get 280 ish and then face them tomorrow in bright sunlight and no swing.

Not that I really think it adds much as a rule, but I find it kinda funny that they don't have a token Australian or anything commentating here. Such an England cheer squad, it's like a C9 commentary team.

Sort of. He has a British passport. England have self-imposed stricter qualification rules than the ICC though so he would've needed to play county cricket for a couple of years first I believe.
Did those stricter rules exist in 2010 though?

and is it an british passport or a EU thing? I always assumed given his middle name is Devereux that there's some recent French or low countries blood in him
