*Official* First Test at Trent Bridge

Ruckus

International Captain
Well be very interested to see how the Eng bowlers go here. Cause in all honesty I don't think we even bowled that well, yet they are still out for 215. Siddle was excellent for most of the time although he bowled poorly in his first spell, patto was very good early on but kind of lost a bit of edge for most of his later spells, Starc was largely ineffective until the very end and Agar/Watson didn't add much at all. Reflection of poor english batting or maybe a deceptively good pitch/conditions for bowling? Guess we will find out

Any more than three down and I'd be worried as an Aussie fan tonight, we really need to build a base so we can bat long tomorrow, the lower order batsmen will be useful to extending our lead on tired bowlers if the top order do the job tonight and tomorrow morning.

but if its not perfect then there is doubt. A shame perhaps, but close calls = doubt its just my opinion
Doubt, yes, but that is irrelevant IMO. There's nothing in the rules about the benefit of the doubt to the batsman. Why not give the benefit of the doubt to the poor bowler for a change? Especially if the ball is a favourite to be hitting the stumps. Which it was, because the best predictive system that we have reckons it was hitting.
