Even though Root got off the mark there, I think it was a little unconvincing and good tactic to bowl a shorter delivery. I'm really enjoying Patto, peach of a delivery there.

Does look a very dry pitch, expect Swann to be huge in both innings but especially as the Test wears on. Also with the abrasive nature of the deck may well reverse pretty early too.

Root struggling to get forward in a way quite reminiscent of Compton. Not that I'm underestimating the difficulty of getting forward to Pattinson.
