Not having lunch at 1 has been more of a hinderance to England if anything. Could have been good for England to regroup at lunch, and come back with Hughes and Agar having to get themselves in again. As it's happened, they've just maintained their momentum, and should have a comfortable lead by lunch.

By the same token, how is giving a batsman not out when the ball's hitting the stumps a 50/50 call? As happened with that Starc delivery crashing into the outside of leg stump yesterday, turned down on umpire's call.
