Indeed. The quality of players coming through nowadays is quite the triumph for our mess of a domestic system, but that's fine because we'll all be saved by the Hundred. India are bowling very well tbf, but a decent team wouldn't be 155 for 8.

The predictability is the worst thing. It just feels like we've been on a gradual slide into ineptitude for years now, and I’m not sure we're doing anything to halt it.

Haha it's a good ball but it's not that good. That's still the greatest ball I've ever watched live by a significant distance. Pujara played it perfectly and still got caught plumb LBW in front of middle stump having been beaten on the outside edge ffs
