One was a Watson LBW that was clipping leg - complete waste as he got out the very next ball

The other was the Clarke nick, which was also a waste because it was a tiny nick and those aren't overturned usually

It seemed he had eged it in real time with that noise.

I think Dar thought he had edged it too.

Finn to Clarke I think. Strauss wasn't convinced, Finn convinced him to appeal and Strauss looked pretty pissed with Finn when it wasn't overturned.

Yeah, bit harsh to have a go at Strauss for wasting previous reviews when both of the times he called for a review the batsman was probably out.

The Watson one was a bad referal. The second you can understand and England were just unlucky the noise came from elsewhere.

The point of the reviews is to eliminate bad decisions, not get marginal ones to go your way. That was only ever gonna be the case with the first referal.

Would be surprised if Dar went on the noise alone with that LBW, don't forget we're hearing an ultra amplified version of it. Reckon he made the decision he did because pads and bat were so close to each other and he couldn't be sure he didn't hit it.

This is so annoying.Might go to bed soon as the convicts are having so much luck it is clear they are set to win this game.

And that's why i think Umpires should be given the option to confirm that themselves too,if they have any doubts.
Specially after Reviews are exhausted. Sometimes it is impossible to be sure to naked eye.
