Reckon Finn's length isn't too bad at the moment. Just needs to keep pushing Watson back for longer periods, he's sitting waiting for that ball to whack down the ground and is getting further forward than the English batsmen. Keep pushing him back, back, back and then the full ball has to be splice height.

Is the broken rib still affecting Jimmy? What were his speeds during the warm up matches? Just seems so strange that he is consistently 5 mph or so down on his usual average.

Maybe the speed gun is off?

When everything's good with him he's normally up around at least 85 mph and still swings it appreciably at that pace.

All day yesterday was the same,Johnson was at 85mph ,Hilfenhaus was 82-83, the gun seems to be about 5mph down I reckon.

His plans seem to only extend four to six balls. He's giving a full ball per over to drive.
