Sheer stupidity from the captain. It hardly take Einstein to realise that you just need to see off Zaheer, so wtf give catching practice? Dumb in the extreme.

Very loose shot from Strauss, in the end was having to really drag the ball from high and wide outside off stump, thus losing any control he may have had in the stroke.

Such an exciting period of play coming up here.

He's got the job done but his pitch map was very, very unflattering.
Think people are forgetting that Zaheer is a bowler who plays the long game, tbh. Both his dismissals have been marked by probing if less than threatening outswingers with the occasional ball that looks to take a wicket.

It was a good piece of bowling to get rid of Cook for sure but he's bowled so, so much better than this. Not least on his last visit to England.

Which is why he has 2 wickets and not more.

And then we come to Ishant...

I think this may be a plan to keep KP on 0.

Haha KP isn't even shouldering arms. He's just looking at them disdainfully.

Time for another of my pet peeves - I really would like the umpires to be extra harsh on wides in this case.

at least zaheer's done what he was expected to do -- getting the two lefties out!
wish he had done some off-season training or something to keep himself in shape

I dunno who to be supporting , haha! Zaheer has played a fair bit of cricket here so naturally he should be more apt to the conditions.... True wicket isn't it!
