Batting and bowling stats in this series are weird. England by and large have the better averages in both disciplines. Four of the first six batters, and the five best bowling averages.

is Haze done as a first XI player? Obviously he got 5 last innings he bowled but it was a pretty fluky/ordinary 5 piece. He just looks like he has so much less nip now than he had in the past. He averages 30 under Cummins looking at it

How he's played four games of this series at this standard I'll never know. It's not like we don't have alternatives.
