Man it really is a joy to watch Root batting like this. Was miserable seeing such an artist being weighed down by the failings of his talentless team mates.

Need to bowl it from wider on the crease and really drift it in against Brook IMO. If he wants to hit that shot then make it that little bit harder for him. Certainly no width.

Well at least this time we didn’t drop him.

For all the whinging (yes I’m aware this is weapons grade irony coming from me), 4/210 isn’t that amazing of a position on what looks like a road when it’s sunny. England definitely ahead but far from game over.
