*Official* Fifth Test (The Oval, London) 27-31 July

Australia hasn't won in England for twenty years. It's hard. We don't need a Royal Commission into it.
That's true, but with that quality of bowling attack, it is painful to watch them get hit for runs with ease.

I mean if Australia were fielding Coulter-Nile, Clint McKay, Faulkner and Jhye Richardson, it made sense with them getting carted all over the park.

Ah yes, one of those great 2-2 crushings.
Haha despite the scoreline being at best a draw for England it has felt like they've dicked us 4-1 or thereabouts. Think it's a 2-0 lead slipping which has influenced that - would it feel the same but reversed if the Tests were flipped, or would Australia think they've dodged a bullet by drawing?

we’ve definitely dodged a bullet if this series draw we was getting smoked last test and look to get smoked this test

Good review that. I think the best sign of whether a caught behind decision is on or not seems to be how keen Carey is.

Good start by Duckett nonetheless.

Lacquer come off? Been a consistent pattern in this game for both sides that the brand new rock has been a good time to bat.

That's how Duke balls behave. They won't swing much initially, but tend to do a lot later.

Kookaburra, first 20 overs swing, after that it goes gun barrel straight.
