*Official* Fifth Test at the SCG

Riggins

International Captain
After losing 5 tosses in a row, Cook now has a 63/64 chance of winning here. It would be fitting if he screwed it up.

What odds will you give me for Cook losing it again?

I'll throw my fortune at anything over $1.83

It's funny the Root selection is the one causing the most drama because it's the one I mind the least.

This could be an absolute hammering - I just hope the Aussie have an attack of complacency, as that's the only way it'll stay respectable

I think it's a little bit odd because he'll almost definitely play the first test v SL IMO. But yeah, Borthwick is the disastrous selection.

Jeez. Seems like bowling first is the right call objectively, but always think we struggle with scoreboard pressure, and bowl so much better when we've batted first, even when below par like last week.

Win the toss and bowl. If we hadn't have batted first in the last Test it might have been an issue but if its a green pitch our only chance is to knock them over for under 200.

Can see us being 3 down by lunch. Broad & Anderson are going to love this wicket based on how it looked in the last T20 here.

At one point during the last SCG Ashes Test, our entire top 8 averaged 40+

By my count three of them do today, though granted two of them don't have an average and another has only played three Tests
