Its so much more easier to get LBW's from around the wicket with hawk-eye than it used to be without it.

Odd that most of them didn't appeal for that
Yeah, I was surprised by the replay given England's reaction and it didn't really look out live.

Wonder how Siddle/Lyon attack it. Personally I'd have thought about a declaration, they aren't exactly hitters.

Wtf was Kumar thinking that was missing? Looked so dead.
Possibly he figured the enormous swing would make it eventually miss the leg stump? Personally, when umpiring, I find it hard to judge big late in-swing.

Interesting, thought that was dead live and was immediately confident it was hitting enough of the stumps for the decision to be overturned.

I'm not sure he realised it hit the back-pad. That's what made it look out for me.

Stroke Lyon, played that beautiful straight drive, but was denied by Finn in the last.

Nice catch that!

Finn jammy to come out with such good figures in the end really. Was just thinking before it that Wood is probably ahead of him in the pecking order given this innings and the Trent Bridge test.

Shaun Marsh of bowling - rocks or diamonds
Ironically he goes for a lot of runs because he tries to pitch it up more than the rest. He does what Botham is always whinging about. Along with the "doesn't matter if you get hit for runs"

Which he does. A lot.

Wood is surely more likely to play in the gulf given he's a more skiddy bowler. No point playing Broad and Finn out there.

Kind of funny how Stokes is never going to have a good bowling average.
Why funny? There's been loads of bowlers not consistent enough to have a good record, but can be a handful on their day. Ishant Sharma syndrome sadly.

Stokes may well improve as time goes by, although it's not guaranteed.
