Can't abide having sky comms on 05 and earlier ashes clips. Just doesn't have the same nostalgic feel.
Thought Bob Willis was pretty good during the back end of day three at Edgbaston and the final innings at Trent Bridge, but I know what you mean.

Yeah not about the quality but more the memories

Annoys me that the series DVDs since then don't have the sky comms

Yeah absolutely. Almost feels like listening to Gower commentate the Siddle hattrick lacks nostalgia because I've hard the Channel Nine commentary for it more.

Will echo what Burgey has said as I'm about to hit the sack too. Has been a fun series here on CW, with most taking the banter in the manner it has been intended (i.e. vitriolic and hate-filled). It's been enjoyable visiting the threads related to the series and catching up on what's been going on via everyone's posts. All I ask is Prior doesn't make a century today so we have a small victory to take from it all.

Congrats to England on winning a pretty interesting Ashes when all's said and done. Looking forward to the restart in Brisbane in November when we hit the back 9 on the Sunday.

Australia will win 2-1.

Love that Chappelli still gets fired up about SA cricket, especially losing Mark Cosgrove to Tassie. He still cares.

I'm pretty sure there was a piece during lunch on day 4 of the Second Test with Mark Nicholas doing a guided tour of it.
Viagra. That should sort it. I didn't even have to mention penis-enlargement.

Got ad-block myself though. Sorry James.

Prior gifts his wicket to Faulkner, thus ensuring the latter's start in Brisbane. He really is a selfless cricketer
