Cracking game from Holland France. Yer Dutchies could of closed up shop after going 1-0 or 2-0 up, but did not and still played football. But **** me Franck Ribery is a good player, every time I watch him play I am impressed, looks like the one guy who is going to set up anything for France when they got into Holland's quarter. Scored some cracking goals for Bayern Munich last season, gun IMO.

Holland look very impressive. they are well organised in defence and very, very clincal in their finishing up front. Sneijder is gonna be the key - they'll need to keep him fit
Certainly could go all the way if they keep playing like that. For the moment, "CLOCKWORK ORANGE" is the watchword.

Italy played well against Romania and were unlucky not to get 3 points. I 'm expecting them to beat France and they may well qualify - a world champion side does not go down easily.

France look horribly overrated.....they haven't filled the great Zidane's shoes and as a result look completely disorganized when orchestrating moves from midfield.
Add to the fact they have a dumb coach who wouldn't pick Phillip Mexes one of the best central defenders in the Serie A and quite possibly Europe.
Only the classy Ribery has been impressive (wouldn't be surprised if he moved to a bigger club than Bayern Munich soon). France need to play young Nasri imo (can't fathom why he's on the bench).....he's probably the closest thing they have got a playmaker and he's probably the fulcrum around which their world cup campaign for 2010 is going to revolve around.
