Good. Not that I have watched MotD for about 15 years or so. But good nonetheless.
Yeah, and no/less Lineker is invariably good however you slice it.Me neither, but Cates and Chapman are always great on the radio. Logan just a very experienced pro.
I'm still shocked that whenever I catch the News before MOTD they still give it the old "if you want to avoid the results, look away now". Do people still actually do this before MOTD?Yeah, and no/less Lineker is invariably good however you slice it.
Not far from the best CB combo in the league, they are very good. The system is just perfectly balanced, I didn't think we were actually going to score at all so the Jota goal surprised me.We've played against Salah 6 times + once in the FA Cup in our promotion season and he has only played well against us once. We obviously doing something right in our defensive structure because first Alex Moreno shut him out at Anfield and then Neco Williams last night.
TBF to us for 60 minutes Liverpool didn't look like they had a clue how to score against us. Once they did, I admit it was one way traffic but they are so so good & even then we got a couple of dangerous counters away but again you got to credit our GK and defence. It's not riding your luck 21 games in I don't think. Nuno did this at Wolves but I think he has a better defensive unit with us. Milenkovic and Murillo are almost the perfect CB combination.
We need to get him fit enough to start games. If we can I'm not concerned about anyone catching us. If we can't we are in big strife.I'm sick of the sight of Jota.
Scores against all the time and that includes when he played for Wolves. Headers as well even though he is a shorty.
That was my take on it too, wasn't like he didn't have chances. 2 months ago he's curling them into the top corner, now he's putting them into Row X.Salah has form for this. He goes crazy first half season then turns to rubbish second half. That performance was nothing new but I personally dont think it had much to do with Williams. Salah just didn't show up.
4 seasons in a row he's done this and each time it has cost us. It's no wonder FSG won't meet his wage demands when you also factor in his age, the G/A stats are there but the underlying numbers when the season is on the line tell a different story. That was my take on it too, wasn't like he didn't have chances. 2 months ago he's curling them into the top corner, now he's putting them into Row X.
This would usually be followed by him saying "Right after this advert break" as well, which compounded the apoplexy.MOTD when you successfully avoided the scores as a child was the GOAT tv show. When ITV took it over they added spoilers, had Des Lynam saying things like ‘we’ve got a seven goal thriller to show you from White Hart Lane today’. Somehow I still get angry thinking about it.
Been some rumours of a wage cap coming to the prem for a while, this might just be City gearing up for that. Not even I expected a 9 year extension for Haaland
He's quality, very very good player no doubt about it.I think Mainoo mostly just loves a big stage, basically all of his best games have been against Liverpool or City. It also means he’s a bit overrated, at least in terms of current ability, because those are the games people watch. But he’s got crazy potential and I’d be horrified if we sold him.
