What makes you say that?
Just that’s he’s so technical and involved in the play so much beyond scoring goals. It’s not like a Toney or Vardy situation where they’re clearly good enough but the way they play isn’t quite what the best teams are looking for.

I rate him and think he would be very good in a Pep-type system, somewhere he can play fluidly across the front line.

It was just an interesting comment when I reflect on his time at Atletico. First season he was great but then he really struggled in the second season and left on bad terms. That squad had some fantastic players. I'll caveat that by saying Cholo isn't renown for getting the best out of attacking players, they had their personal issues too.

Don't know why but I just get the feeling he's found his level now. I think he suits being the talisman of the team and may lose his way if he ends up at a big club again.

Could very well end up like another Zaha and reach colt hero status if he stays at Wolves another few seasons.

Top fun yesterday. Nice to see Arsenal firing on all cylinders again, especially Saka.

Thought that WHAM looked like absolute hot garbage defensively mind you.

Brentford just so much fun this season and Damsgaard being this good is just an absolute joy.

As was your manager in the post-match interview on MOTD. As always, actually. Not just one of the good guys but one of the best.

As for my boys, Munoz's last minute equaliser feels very important. We'll see how they kick on over the next few weeks, but even the two points from their last two games have kept us from completely being in the mire. My impression is they played quite well (unlike at home to Fulham a fortnight ago) but individual **** ups prevented us winning the games.

Watching Justin Kluivert's hat-trick got me thinking about current players with famous dads. Thuram also springs to mind, but I thought it would be simpler to stick to Premiership players whose father or grandfather also played top flight football in England. So that's Haaland, Liam Delap, Archie Gray and Jack Hinshelwood without even trying too hard. There must be others. Is finding a full XI out of the question?

Brennan Johnson is another one, off the top of my head.

About whom I had absolutely no idea. I looked him up just now and saw that his dad was David Johnson, which astonished me as the DJ I knew (Ipswich, Liverpool and England in the late 1970s) must surely have been too old to be Brennan's father. Sure enough there was another DJ who had completely slipped through my radar.

The sons of Paul Furlong and Kevin Campbell have also played in the Premiership apparently, but are now in the Championship after suffering relegation.

Kasper Schmeichel no longer around either obviously, but he's another fairly significant example.

Sure Palace will be fine (as always) but do think the standard of mid-table clubs is just really good now.

Yeah, you could add Angus Gunn to that particular list.
