The other option, which I ended up doing, is signing up to Discovery Plus where you can also find it. If you have a BT/TNT login then you have free access to it.

The Champions League Goals Show was literally the best thing about BT Sport, to have now hidden it behind the red button or put it onto stream only is desperate stuff.
I’m saving £5.50 a month through this change. I get BT via my phone contract and used to pay a big screen upgrade so I can put the app on firestick etc. When it changed over you could automatically stick Discovery on big screen at no added cost. Smart!

So I've got BT through the phone contract too, at whatever extra price it costs. It's the most basic, haven't bothered with HD or multi-screen. Are you suggesting there's now a cheaper way of doing it?

I don’t pay any extra for it as an add-on. I don’t know if that’s a ‘grandfathered’ benefit though and you can’t get it for free anymore. Worth an enquiry Id suggest

To be fair, it's been a while since I've been through the "I want to cancel my contract" process.

Arsenal being back in the CL feels weird.
It's so good being in the CL, even when you're shite. I just love having massive games against top European sides to look forward to.

I use "look forward to" loosely regarding tonight's match, my expectations could not be any lower.

Yeah it's gun. Always used to take it for granted that Arsenal would be in it, and it kind of lost its novelty factor. The joys of being spoiled for so long I guess.

But now that it's back I've got this nervous (starting new job/school) type excitement for it.

Jude doing his thing again tonight. There aren't many British players who've had that sort of impact after joining a European club.

Unless you're not playing well, then you know you've got a beating coming. As an LFC fan I used to despise getting Napoli every season but there were some really special group games along the way, PSG in particular comes to mind.

I think there's a bit of an advantage to playing Europa league instead. The later in the week games suck but having much easier fixtures allows rotation of the squad and then on top there's a week off if you win the group. The big sides can basically treat it like a training session until the quarters.

It's absolutely massive where the games are located though, last thing you want is to be travelling long distances. We got very lucky to draw teams from Sweden, France and Belgium.

I'm of the belief that it will be quite beneficial for our league form this season. I'd much prefer to be in our position than say Newcastle who will have to play their best XI every UCL game just to get out of the group.

Did anything interesting happen last night? As a result of the biblical rain, we got a powercut at 8pm which lasted for 2 sodding hours.

PSV aren't really a serious team, I know, but it was fun and satisfying watching Arsenal absolutely smoke them last night. I swear Odegaard gets better every time I see him play. It's a cliche obviously, but he really is one of these "makes it look so easy" players. Just looks effortless.

He's still underrated imo.

Probably another season or two before he's consistently in 'world's best' conversations.

Every time I've watched Arsenal in 2023 he's been their best player by miles.

How exactly have Norway managed to remain so shite despite having arguably the world's best number 10 and a god-tier number 9? A 24-team Euros with no Haaland or Odegaard would be surreal.
