Tierney the only defender at that end of the park who looks comfortable at all. Even when Arsenal have the ball, Mari in particular looks like he's always uncertain about who he should be looking to move the ball to.

Mari is third rate. So is Chambers and that has been known for about five years. Still there though for some reason.

Yeah, absolutely. I missed the pregame, so I've no idea about fitness issues, but even an underdone Bellerin was surely worth a start over Chambers. Saka is the other one I'm scratching my head about.
Xhaka had his 4/5 good games for the year in the Euros as well, he's been awful so far.

I thought we were behind the curve when we played Smalling at RB 10 years ago. How are Arsenal still throwing in a big chonky CB there. No one does that any more.
