I couldn't watch it but apparently it was as bad as anything we served up under Emery.

This will take a while, we have a lot of **** players in the squad.

Can anyone pinpoint a particularly meaningless competitive match in their clubs history?

I think last night might be it for mine. Of course you get loads of end of season League matches where neither team can go up or down, but there's still a modicum of interest.
But last night we (Plymouth) played Newport in the EFL trophy group stage. It was the third match and both teams had lost the first two so couldn't qualify. 20 changes in the starting line-ups - the two surviving Newport players must have felt like they were being punished. And of course no crowd.

We managed to qualify for the next round without playing a match, yay us. Meaningless comp. all about the prize money.

Our Europa League tie against Leverkusen this year. By the time the first leg rolled around it felt pretty pointless as the 2nd leg was never going to be able to take place as scheduled, and the 2nd leg taking place in early August after our season had started just felt weird.

At this exact moment (14:05 on 13th November 1976) 44 years ago I was arriving at Home Park for a game against Fulham. They had Bobby Moore, George Best and Rodney Marsh in their team. All way past their prime, but still young enough (Best had only just turned 30) to show glimpses of genius.

So it seems Saliba lost both his parents recently ?
****, take care Big Willy, would be traumatic for anyone let alone a 19 year old.

It looks like PPV has been abandoned from November 21st with all matches available via the relevant subscriptions and a few free on the BBC.

Hard to be that optimistic, with the current Rona figures but maybe Light at the end of the tunnel.

The problem is you can see them agreeing something sensible, then when Lockdown 3, the craptitude, happens they'll just say, oh ignore all that, no crowds, and all the money you've spent prepping for it is wasted..

going to give this a go 1 quid a month for the next 12 months sub ,,just a heads up to anyone else interested in this offer.
I've been signed up to this for a while and not read as much as I want. But I've been really enjoying some of the longer articles they've been writing that you don't really get too many of elsewhere.
