No they are definitely much better.
Glad to get through a really good performance but always was nervy at 1-0 we would come to rue those missed chances especially as for all of Madrid not looking all that, Mendy had 2 big saves to make relatively early on. Got to be a lot more clinical if we want to beat Man City though.

Yeah I think Chelsea will be tempted to for Haaland this summer even if they were to beat City in the final.
Hopefully its not as drab as the previous English champs league final , City obvious favs but Chelsea are playing really good stuff right now.
Interesting with an eye on next season who will be main rival to City? Pool or Chelsea?

I'm unsure on getting a new striker - if we can get Haaland though no doubt get him but media link with him and Chelsea seems to be dying somewhat. Depending on how much Aguero wanted he might be an option but I wouldn't be getting him as someone who can guarantee us 45 starts a season but I wouldn't want to get a striker just so we have a striker as our fortune with high profile strikers isn't great as it is so going for someone who is well down the list of options for a big fee is a big risk.

While false 9 has worked for us this season I don't expect Pep will stick with it long term. We will almost certainly buy a #9 this off-season.

Yeah I don't think it's ideal in your case. Tbh I'd say the City attack is as bad as it's been under Pep, it's just worked out overall because the defence is on another level. None of your wingers or forwards are quite top tier at the moment.

I think Werner will come good tbh, but there's been some reasonably reliable rumours about that Chelsea are trying to bring back Lukaku. Which to me would be quite a signing for them, he's a monster rn.

I think they need to give Havertz a run at 9 for a season or so and see how it works out. Not sure it makes sense to sign a striker when they have a £70m 21-year-old who's just starting to come good, has the right physique for it, and really doesn't fit in anywhere else.
At best he'd be a Firmino type when a lot of people would prefer a Kane type, but he's at the club and I don't know what else they would do with him given Tuchel's system. He's not a winger and he's struggled to do what Mount does as an attacking midfielder.
Though obvs if you can get Haaland then you get Haaland and don't even think twice about it.
