Supposedly firing him before champs league qualification is impossible will cost a lot of money. Neville made the point Yesterday that Woodward ****ed up giving him such an extension.
Its also possible that Woodward does not think their is many obvious replacements atm. I know the internet loves Jardim, but that's not how Ed rolls.

Maybe he is content to wait until the Summer and go after Poch or Zidane. I don't think Ed will think outside the box when it comes to replacing Jose.

Indeed. Harry Kane may have won the World Cup golden boot but can he do it on a cold Friday night in Birkenhead?

I’m personally looking forwards to seeing the best striker in the country play in the flesh in the third round. And Kane too if selected.

I'll repeat what I've said every time recently, give it Solskjaer until the end of the season. He's our own Zidane in waiting....

How glorious. I love how he always manages to get the boot around Christmas and holiday season, it adds an extra bit of happiness.

Hope his reputation is absolutely ruined by now.

since the last time in the PL he's earned another vital skill for football managers: the ability to do absolutely nothing about rapist players in his team except ban opposing supporters from chanting about them

I expect he'll be glad as well tbh.

Gets to jump ship from a situation that was basically beyond saving, gets a nice break over the Christmas period, and a ten figure payout. Not a bad life.

Difficult to see where he ends up next, but someone will have him. Possibly time for him to enter the international arena.

I hope your including pence in that, i know we gave him a silly contract but....

£24m it'll cost us apparently. Which is probably enough for him to buy the centre back he so craves.
