That move where they played what felt like about 36 one twos would have been one of the greatest goals of all time if they'd managed to work a shot at the end of it.

The first 3/4 of the tie were even and then they’ve absolutely crushed Juve in the second half here.

Yeah recruitment is the big test for Solskjaer now. Poor signings for years but even worse has been the number of guys we've held on to that shouldn't be near the club. One of the advantages of Poch would have been his willingness to unceremoniously dump average players.
Its a brutal task. Plenty of positions to upgrade and likely Pogba and De Gea leave. Woodward bragging about his 200 million war chest may need to get er a bigger war chest.

That’s what playing well looks like in big away CL ties.
I think a better team would have ruthlessly punished Liverpool's **** passing and would have targeted Robertson.
Bayern are pretty good.

A good away CL performance always looks like a bad performance by the home team. I could repeat exactly the same things I said when we lost at home to PSG.
Going back to this discussion, this is what I was getting at when I said that I didn't think Liverpool played particularly well in Munich.

Judging by past history he's gonna buy players his agent is mates with, only it's what you might call a step down from Jorge Mendes.

Twitter made the connection, but Rinus Michels's and Johan Cruyff's legacies are on full display this evening.

I think their performance was very similar to Ajax's tonight. Ajax couldn't get their passing going in the first half at all, gave a stupid goal away and had to soak up a lot of pressure. Only looks different because we have different expectations going in.

A Utd fan on TalkSport said they've progressed from a mediocre squad with a has been manager to a mediocre squad with a dud manager. Poetry in motion.

It's amusing that United have 2 English centre halfs who play quite regularly who aren't regular England internationals.

Not only that but when they do play for England it’s like ‘**** me who’s this clown’. They wouldn’t get into most PL teams.
