Just to reiterate, whatever logic and reasoning you come up with, the answer is still Man U

I'm enjoying Ferguson becoming retrospectively cuddly in his retirement. Our current manager is definitely another level of dick though, no question.

Yeah, but he was a ****ing **** that you could begrudgingly respect. I have none whatsoever for Mourinho, the man is pure evil.
Ferguson was every bit the **** Mourinho was in his younger days. Some of the shite he came out with in his Aberdeen days would put his tribute act to shame.

Main difference between the two is that Mourinho has never quite managed to lose the chip on his shoulder.

Haha, I think part of what made Ferguson more likeable in his later years, or at least less hateable, was his involvement in a number of feuds that were either very funny, or feuds in which he was decidedly the lesser of two evils.

Him instigating the amazing meltdown of Rafa Benitez, where Rafa came into that press conference with a list of incidents involving Ferguson and just whined for half an hour is one such example. Him involving himself in the Mark Clattenburg/John Obi Mikel incident, where he said "I wouldn't believe a single thing that comes out of Mikel's mouth" or something like that is another.

Ferguson was just as bad as Mourinho right until the end, let's not pretend otherwise

Maybe, but he was a bit like scaly piscine I tend to think. To begin with everyone took him seriously and was enraged/upset by his crapness. As time went on people just became accustomed to the predictability of it all, and began to react to it like this:

Giggs has finally officially buggered off. There seems to be an assumption that he's the next great manager in waiting, but I wouldn't be surprised if he fails.

Tangles

International Vice-Captain
So United could field Rooney, Carrick, Schweinstiger and Ibra all at the same time to really throw the team age up. Not that I think JM will do that. Really interested to see what he does with Rooney and Schweinstiger. If he punts someone early to make a statement they are good candidates. Mata is expected to go so that wouldn't count.

Redbacks

International Captain
Not familiar with him apart from the recent stats the rumors mention. What's the general opinion on on him?
Signing him at a career peak right now.

His movement was amazing this season but Dortmund's style is something special and makes most players look good.

Mourinho's comments on Rooney in midfield are spot on.
I hope they're just a tactful way of saying "he's shite". I'm more certain that he's not a striker or 10 than I am that he's not a midfielder, although still pretty certain.
