God damn it"This video is unavailable in your country"
lolDisgustingly easy draw for Tottenham.
Jeez. I can remember his old man making his debut. That ages me.Meh, why bother, just means five years on Loan at various places round Europe?
Funny really, earlier in the thread I mentioned to GIMP, jokingly, that maybe Chelsea could buy him from us and loan him back to us. Yet apparently that's what they're offering to tey to prise him from Arse's clutches with Kwame being coach "n" all.Jeez. I can remember his old man making his debut. That ages me.
I think for all intents and purposes he was, the same way Xavi or many other modern players who leave at the tail end for money are. This is going to be the modern way by and large. The point of the one club man is basically someone who gave their career and serviced one club, without joining another to ever hinder them IMO. He gave almost 3 decades to Liverpool, that'll do me. LA was basically a nice retirement holiday that paid really well. This is probably why I never took any of the news of him coming back seriously. Stevie has been one of the most selfless star players and the minute he wasn't useful enough for Liverpool for the manager (Rodgers) to start him regularly he had enough self-awareness to call it a day. That self-awareness is probably why he didn't take the MK Dons job. He isn't some poetic, philosophical genius a la Guardiola but his sense for the game inside and outside of the pitch has generally been spot on.Haha I've grown to like you over the last few months so I won't troll you.
It's a shame he went to America actually, someone like Gerrard should have retired a one club man.
