Tbf, I think it's quite good. The presenters don't really have the backing to give opinions and whoever they get on probably won't know as much as the FM scouts.

Unless things have changed, you don't need to be an expert to be an FM scout.

These things are mostly the collated opinions of a lot of big, nerdy fans of each club. I'd say in most cases it's better than a random scout or "expert", because they're not going to be an expert in that particular club.

That said, it's still hilarious that they're actually doing it.

Yeah, I'm always more inclined to agree with the guys who watch every game a club plays and then spend hours arguing about it on twitter over some guy who probably barely watches highlights. I mean, I remember a month or so back some ex Liverpool player was interviewed on SSN, and he was talking about that they'd done good business. His points didn't extend beyond Milner being free and therefore a no brainer, and Firmino being Brazilian so he must be good. The bar isn't exactly high.

Oh god we play a C team and find ourselves 3-0 down after 12 minutes. I could not care less, the League Cup is a total waste of time but it just gives those fans who hate what we are doing an awful lot more to moan about.

Not sure, it is Mourinho who moaned like hell about how bad the medical facilities were at Reading when Cech got hurt then turns on his own staff for doing their job. People will remember that and support the physio regardless whether she is hot or a bald bloke.

It's a PR disaster because they've sacked one of the only females sitting in the technical area for doing her medical job....correctly, and Jose has said something like "you have to understand the game" which is gonna remind people of the old ***ist trope of women not knowing sports. It would probably be a disaster if they fired a male medical personal for doing their job correctly anyway, but the ***ism calls which Jose sparked by the understand the game thing is why it's such a disaster.

That is true too, but hardly any football fans have that feminist perspective. That element of bad PR will only start to bite if the story starts hitting the mainstream news, which hasn't quite happened. I suspect that the club will give her an enormous settlement to ensure that it doesn't.

Her looks make a big difference to how it's perceived by the LADBible wankers and pub bores who make up the vast majority of football fans.

Yeah, TBH no one would give a toss if it wasn't Mourinho and if it wasn't for the fact (and I'm not a ***ist, but........ ) she's got a damn fine ass when she bends down to treat players - which lets face it happens with the Chelsea mards a lot.


I don't get Jose's logic though, it denied them a player... But he's inactive if he's down injured anyway, so what he's saying is Hazard would've been able to jump back up any second if needed. Isn't that called being a cheating ****?
