BARNES OUT
United and West Ham both threatening the top four, too.

This could be dug up in two months time and used to show me what a fool I am but that's City done for in the title race me. Suspect Sm00teh would agree. If Spurs win on Saturday then it becomes a two horse race.
We were done a month ago. You just watch this team play and know they aren't up for it.

I know nothing.
We haven't won at Anfield since 2003. Was always going to happen.

Arsenal are always just Arsenal.
Nah, old Arsenal used to play good football and lose it as a result of goalkeeper shenanigans. This is more of a Mourinho at Chelsea season, just not as good.

Was at the Emirates tonight. Fair to say it wasn't fun.

CDMs got everything they deserved really. The two goals they conceded were pathetic. Whining about someone not getting a free kick on half way as an excuse for a goal as simple as that. The first time they hit the bar was a bit of a sitter, I'm not sure why the first player headed it back mind when it needed a precise headed pass. Was much easier to score with a direct header than tee it up and score that way. Norwich also had the tight angle open goal.

I think what he meant was that with Arsenal there's just always something which prevents them from ever really kicking on. When it comes down to the crunch, for whatever reason, they just don't seem to be able to get it done.

If Arsenal went into the final game needing to not lose 5-0 at home to Aston Villa to win the title, I'd have no confidence in them doing so.

They need someone who will tear into them on the pitch when they fanny about like they did conceding their first goal tonight. It was just so casual. Players walking back. Then whining at the referee for not giving a free kick in the middle of the pitch, led by Chief Whingeur as usual. That's all very nice but you're trying to win the match first, not score pretty goals and get your pet lip out because the referee didn't give you a nigh on meaningless free kick. You can't have that culture of laconic elegance permeate through everything, it has to stop at some point, particularly when you don't have the ball.

Weird season. It's like everyone's collectively agreed to be shite. Imagine the margin some of Fergie's teams would have won the league by, this year.

Would've rather won the league cup and City won the league game. We finished some great moves and there was more quality play in the middle. But we're still missing a cultured midfielder to control the game. Henderson, Can and Milner give the ball away far too much; even though they get it back more than most midfielders because of their work-rate. Suspect Klopp will may do a sizeable culling of the squad.

That something is Wenger and has been from about 2007/8. I got pelted with abuse for suggesting it at the time as well. Its not that he and his players make mistakes, its that they make the same mistakes all the time. Just praying we can upset Spurs and Leicester can take advantage this weekend.

Not just that, Chelsea could qualify for europe through a league place despite playing like fools to get rid of Mourinho for nearly half a season.

Well it's sort of the opposite of 13/14 in that we did well in most of the big games but blew it with rubbish results against Swansea, Southampton, West Brom, Norwich, Chelsea etc. And then you've got the fact that Arsenal are basically better at parking the bus than they are at taking the initiative and chasing the game in possession, which you would've got pretty long odds on being the case five years ago.

Edit: Even in the transfer market the mistakes are different. If only Wenger had invested as much time trying to get a small technical midfielder as he did getting an experienced goalkeeper!
