You're not that bad. But yeah quite a similar performance to us yesterday. I reckon Leicester played better than Burnley did though.

Sanogo really wasn't cutting it. The whole game was a convincing argument that Arse need another striker. Early days but it already looks a lot like another 4th place finish this year.

Hernandez going to Real Madrid apparently.
Yeah on loan. He desperately needs a move, career has stalled very badly.

It's strange to take a step up when you're not good enough to get in the United team, but I think the move makes sense. He's a player that's great at turning pressure into goals but doesn't do much else, and United are too **** to put sides under pressure. Whereas Madrid have had some trouble breaking down teams that sit back.

This season we've played five games against sides we have better players than and we've won twice, each game by one goal. Not only is the football slow and uninspiring but it's the same old problems coming up. No high quality striker options, injuries left right and centre. These were all issues that should've been resolved by now, as they've been evident for a long time. The system so far this season isn't working. Özil is having little impact from wide areas and Ramsey is trying to be a player he's not by playing so high up the pitch.

Can't categorically say I support Wenger anymore tbh.

Leicester are by a distance my favourite team to watch besides my own. But how good are Liverpool? :D

Huge man crush on this fella

How many top-class British managers has there been since the last English one? Might just be randomness but it seems to be a lot.

Seriously though, Faclao isn't the answer. Been on the decline a couple of seasons, just recovered from a long knee injury, will have huge wages and the reported price by the Guardian is £55 million. Don't get why City are linked to him at all.

But no, we're not linked to anyone. And from reports, we're not working hard to change that either

Nah he'd score so, so many for Arsenal. I think the only thing stopping me would be the knee injury.

Wilfried Bony, maybe? How much would you pay for him?

I have not seen him since his Atletico days so maybe he has declined but I just can't see him doing a Torres or anything, he is just too good at scoring goals.

Transfer fees don't really mean anything anymore anyway.

Of course they do. In his last 51(3) appearances in league football Falcao has scored 28 goals that weren't penalties. If you just look at his time in Ligue 1 then his record is played 19 scored 8 (that weren't penalties). He's 28, on a downward slope and there's loads of uncertainty after his injury. I'd be interested in a sixth month or full season loan, but I wouldn't even contemplate signing him for anything less than 15-20million. For the figures that are being reported it's madness.

For the cost it would take and his age I'd expect it to be astronomical tbh. And my fear would be it going down further.

As for penalties, yeah they still count, but they're not exactly hard to score. 4/5 are scored IIRC. Unless he's winning them all then him being good at converting penalties isn't exactly a relevant quality when it comes to whether Arsenal's goal scoring will improve with him. Arsenal scored all of their penalties in the league last season.

I just don't think fans should worry about fees etc, unless it's a case of you get him or two others, or if there's a danger of doing a Leeds which clearly there isnt
