*Official* English Football Season 2014-15

Yeah who cares. Far worse is the fact Chelsea are playing really rather badly and are going to win the league. At least before Christmas they were good.

Arsenal are really not far away now, please put together an entire season next time round. In fact as much as I have trashed the Premier League this season, and it has been rubbish, next season could actually be really good.
2012/13 - start badly, finish really well. If only we hadn't started so badly...
2013/14 - challenge, collapse after defeat at Anfield. If only we'd finished better...
2014/15 - start badly, finish really well. If only...

They have a better squad this year as well though. It still needs improving but it is much closer than it was. .

Yeah, whenever people entertain the idea Arsenal could challenge next season some smart arse always says "you say that ever year" but it's just not really true and this is so evidently a much better squad than 2-3 years ago plus the different situation financially.

And I don't see why Cesc wouldn't kiss the badge. He's done it at every other club he's ever played for.

As an outsider looking in i'd say Arsenal look the best prepared to challenge Chelsea for the title next season. City have an old squad that needs an overhaul, United will be there but may drop points early with the new defenders they will get in and Liverpool have too many areas that are in need of improving.

I think 2013/14 was your best shot at a title. This season you've improved but Chelsea have improved a lot more, in spite of their second-gear end to the season. Hard to say at this stage how the squads will shape up for next season.

Yeah, we were a bit crap though. I mean, I wasn't even hoping for a title this season because I didn't think one summer would be enough. We capitalised on a few things in the early parts of the season.

If Arsenal would get rid of the nothingness that is Geroud, and just buy someone who can "put it in the hole", they would be contenders. Such an an awesome midfield.

From the sounds of it you didn't get really screwed though. They had 19 shots. Better than us and Leverkusen...

Somehow not winning on Saturday looking really costly right now.

Not for one second suggesting that Warbs is anything other than a total hero but Benham really has been proved right about wanting to bring in more players in January.

Tbf ,that doesnt exactly reveal the whole story. They had like one chance in the first half and a couple other half chances at best. They were really threatening for the first 20 mins or so but faded away as the game went on.We had atleast two Giroud-esque misses in the first half so i'm quite disappointed we couldnt score more. For the neutrals,it was a dull game to watch thats for sure.

Abdennour and Kondogbia stood out for me yesterday. If City are looking for a DM,look no further than Kondogbia.I think he's a star for the future.

So Klopp is available from the summer...Think he'd be a poor fit at City though.
It depends how easy it is to offload the oldies on huge contracts. I think they'll still find buyers for most of them, in which case Klopp could definitely work.
