U19 Captain
Ferdinand and Campbell at the back, Scholes for Gerrard.

Was there no one better than Neville? Can't think of anyone off hand.

Big Sol, surely?

Rio would always give the oppo a chance a game just by being a dozy ****.
I have always rated Rio higher than most, his pace and anticipation were key in a lot of United success.

TBH, as Dogwalker says wouldn't be against playing them boyh. Oh and Giggs early in his career was every bit as good as Pires at best, electrifying pace, which he lost a bit, you add that to longevity and he's a shoe-in, to all but the most bias Arse fan. Oh and Zola should be in there somewhere, but not sure where.

Agree with Sledger; Pires at his best was better than Giggs. In fact, I'm tempted to say much better than Giggs. I don't think Giggs was ever legitimately the best player in the league at any point in his career whereas Pires actually was. Giggs gets over the hump for his longevity.

Personally don't see how Bergkamp should be ahead of Shearer who was far more prolific. The rest can't really complain but I'd probably go for Ferdinand over Adams.
