Well, the best thing about having an absolutely horrible cold is that I managed to sleep through almost all of yesterday.

Not the most pleasant surprise upon waking, but at least I didn't have to sit through it in real time.

There's good precedent for not giving pens in those sorts of situations tbf. Just ask Britain's "top" referee.

Edit: On a serious note though, yeah, that doesn't look good.

Seemed to think he got a touch on the ball. Some refs would give it as a free outside the box anyway though, it's a bit high. Really hard done by there.

Was browsing through for some early season lols though there weren't too many, nobody was tipping united to be so ****e or Liverpool to be so good but aside from the standard 'their year' jokes and Furball claiming yer scousers arent a big club we didn't embarrass ourselves too much this season as far as I can tell

Anyway I dug the post because my quote has rang true a few times. Ryan Lowe had a shot cross the line by 2 yards last week and it wasn't given, i sit front row and the opposition keeper actually told us himself that he agreed it was a goal. I doubt the costs will ever be covered for it to reach the lower leagues and it really is a shame IMO.

Not sure I trust that particular account, but apparently SSN say Wenger is going to have an interview with the Arsenal website tomorrow. Can't think why else they'd have one. He cancelled his press conference yesterday so he clearly doesn't want to talk to the media.
