Graeme Le Saux was famously thought of as a little fruity because he read The Guardian.

Robbie Fowler (who's usually a good bloke, tbf to him) once showed his backside to him and said something to the effect of "Come on, give it me up the arse."

Pretty sure they were England team mates at the time too.
Fowler is an k...b insulting Le Saux in that way merely shows him up for the pea-brained tit he is. Then again can we be sure it was him? It could have been mistaken identity, I believe he was in bed at the time.

 @ Smalling's party outfit. Just wow.
Clearly a bit of a berk.

Tbf him the idea of dressing up as a "jager-bomb" is quite clever imo. It's the inclusion of the Arab head dress which is the source of the direness.

Should have attempted to dress up as one of the bombs from the Mario games.

Akpom in on loan, plenty of these youth loans have not worked out in the past but still quite excited about this. January business done for us, window to shut now please.
Surprised Arsenal let him go actually. With Bendtner and Walcott out he's now our second choice striker.

Sam Allardyce doing English cricket a favour by taking the pressure off Cook and Flower
He's just a **** isn't he? Refusing to apologise to the fans for the two cup defeats. Ronnie gets many things wrong but when we're ****e, especially away from home, he always says he's sorry to the fans who travelled to watch it. Just common decency isn't it?

God I hate him. Despise him. He must make west ham fans' blood boil.

Has he been liked anywhere aside from B****n? Suppose Blackburn tolerated him too.

Mystifies me that Allardyce has such a high profile in the game. He was a clogger as a player and his managerial prowess is even lower than that. How could anyone who has been at Bolton be of interest or use to anyone they must be among the dullest clubs in football. I watched Hammers v Forest and hoped to see a good even contest but then I remebered 'big Sam' was WH manager and I went off to watch some paint dry. Seriously what on earth was the logic of resting players for the FA cup tie for the Man City game? West Ham were always going to get thrashed out of sight at the Ethiad. West Ham are a proud club and lose, win or draw they are usually worth watching, their fans deserve better than Allardyce surely to god.

Yeah, it's pretty poor tbh. The journey up to Manchester and back down to London (presumably for work the next morning) would have cost a bit more than small change, and I don't imagine the majority of West Ham fans are a particularly affluent bunch. In any case, it'd be an almighty slog of a journey regardless of price. The fact that Big Sam is brazenly refusing to offer them any sort of apology suggests to me he's a bit out of touch with the average fan imo. I mean, I'd feel PO'd if I'd paid to get into a local non-league match and they got spanked. But if I were to pay upwards of £150 (I suspect that is how much would be spent on travel/tickets/food etc...) to get up from East London to Manchester and back, in the middle of the week, in crap weather, to see not only my team get walloped, but for them to give one of the most half-hearted and soulless performances imaginable...I'd be sick as a pig.

cba with WBA at all so haven't really seen him since he left Reading but Shane Long was a superb prospect when he was with us - he can't be that old even now so I would think he's a great signing - proper old-fashioned centre forward of the type you all too rarely see these days

Jelavic had a real purple patch when he first signed for the Toffos, off the back of a shedload of goals for Furball's chaps, but has been treading water for some time since. Hasn't started regularly for ages.

Sort of player who would suit Bruce's MO tho.

Furball

Evil Scotsman
His confidence for whatever reason is absolutely shot. For a player as instinctive as Jela can be (scores a ridiculous number of goals with one touch finishes), when it's not happening then he'll look absolutely horrible.

Definitely needs a move.

It's perhaps a bit strange that Martinez is happy to let him go on a permanent basis, since the only other forward Everton have at their disposal who seems to be capable of being a regular scorer of goals is Lukaku, and I doubt they'll be able to rely on his services once the season comes to a close.

Presumably they must have some plans to bring in a few forward in either this window or the summer.

Shameless arse-kissing. I'm not sure who I find more objectionable to be honest, Keys or Allardyce.

Both are fairly detestable, albeit for rather different reasons.
