It's only acceptable for lounging round the house, wearing to games or actually playing football. Wearing it to official functions such as court appearances is only done by low class fans of clubs like Liverpool and Celtic.
Yeah, agreed. Unless you're under the age of 17.

On a somewhat related note. Does anyone else find it weird when managers wear some sort of football kit in the dugout? I can understand why they'd wear a track suit. But you get some, like Owen Coyle, for instance, who wear shorts and football socks rolled up to the knees. Decidedly odd IMO.

Interestingly, when I just googled 'Tony Pulis Pedo', I was asked: 'did you mean to search for "Tony Pulis is my dad"?'. Itstl.

When they wear boots as well is when it gets me

Despite the fact that you never see them kick a ball, I can almost come to terms with it on the training pitch but in the dugout is just wrong

Was trying to watch Final Score on BBC One, but Mark Bright is just so terrible. Physically couldn't watch any more.

As for my lot, still need a striker, laughable rumour about signing Heskey last night. Guess we will get a loan in next week after window reopens.
Same old story, create loads of chances only to see our strikers go goalless once more. 3 goals in 4 games is crap for the amount of chances we are making every game.

No-one really answered my question about whether I should buy the Citeh looking top.

2nd, exactly where we were last time we were in this division, the gap in class is marked. Still a bit worried about the defensive cover, but we'll score goals this year, which is a relief after last.

As long as you get the name 'Pickup' on the back, I'm largely in favour of the idea.

Also, am glad I've had Yaya as captain of my fantasy team for the entire season so far. WAG.

Theres actually a horrible white expanse on the back of the new home shirt, which will look silly without owt written on it, another reason I don't want it.

Same for us, it's bloody awful. The art of the red and white stripes is dying.

Just back from watching Ipswich draw 2-2 with Huddersfield. Was a very good game for the most part, but one piece of officiating was just so petty and officious I feel compelled to pass comment.

Town (the Ipswich variety) had a corner when trailing 1-0, Andy Drury was taking it but the ref took umbrage with his positioning of the ball and signalled for him to move it further back into the corner circle. Drury duly rolled the ball back and then spread his arms as if to ask "Ok, now?" and the petty **** booked him for it. Literally could not believe it. If he'd tried to sneak it back I could understand it, but he'd done exactly what he was asked.

Crowning glory is that he was officially booked for time-wasting. When 1-0 behind. You could not make it up.

I buy at least one City shirt every season. I'll probably end up getting all three this year, because I love them all, but at this point I'm only buying the home kit and third kit (also known as our Euro-away kit). I'll probably get the actual away kit when it's going cheap later in the season.

That said, here's another question for the masses. Player names, or your own name? Personally, I'd never get my own name on a shirt, find it borderline offensive. I know Corrin likes his own name on a shirt though, so who knows what the rest of you weird English ****s think. I'm gonna get Aguero on the home kit and Maicon on the Euro kit, probably Garcia on the away kit if I eventually get it.

nah, names are silly overall, wearing another mans name is emasculating, and he'll get transferred as soon as you do it, your own name just pathetic fantasy. Really annoyed that Luke O'Brien didn't make it for us, because I'd have done that.

Always used to get my own forename on my Arsenal shirts when I was a lad. A nice coincidence that it was the surname of my favourite player.
