 Blackburn.

Nearly feeling sorry for them now, as they haven't played particularly poorly, but again are about to be beaten, in a pretty huge fixture as well.

Next week against Bolton really will be a cruncher.

From the BBC.

Seems very harsh on the blameless Basle, but I imagine United would jump at the chance regardless.

TBH, long odds of it happening, if it did, I reckon we should refuse the offer - We wernt good enough, Bayern were, so they should get the benefit of any expulsion, not us... Give them a bye.

Allow me to translate cpr's post:

We'll get destroyed by Bayern and then we're out of the Europa as well so I think we should focus on trying to win that instead

United should be 3 up but QPR looked quite dangerous last 5 or 10 minutes, quite a save from Cerny from Valencia.

Warnock. Always Warnock.
Yeah, you're probably right. The only argument I can see to the contrary is that a Man Utd defeat would probably be better for Arsenal. But still, always good to see Warnock lose, will probably aid Wigan as well, which is good news indeed.

Bunch of pie-eaters who belong in League 2, not a football town and doesn't deserve a Prem club, makes sense you would like them ****

Just found this on the BBC website:

Liverpool summer signing Stewart Downing returns to Villa Park still looking for his first goal or assist of the season

I knew he'd been crap, but even I didn't realise he had been that poor.

One of our better performances this season, although obviously it helps when you're playing a team with no defence. It's good to get some contribution from our prank-players, Carrick and Evans had a really good game.

United should have won that by 5, last little bit of first half aside QPR still looking remarkably averagee, may well need to spend some money in January.
