BBC running the top story as Tevez to leave City again, admittedly using the old footage from Argentinian chat shows.

Glichy signs for City. I'm guessing the two are linked.

Would have quite liked Clichy. :( Worried we'll sign Enrique now. Do not want.

Not really anything to do with the new English season but not really worthy of it's own thread either, but quite amusing so I thought I'd dump it in the nearest football thread. (Apologies if it's been posted already).

Greatest day in the History of our glorious club. Wes Brown ****s off, and takes O'shea with him.

O'Shea's in the top 30 or 40 of appearances for Man Utd. Guess that means he has incriminating photos of Fergie.

In fairness to O'Shea, has been a willing deputy for many a year, filling in the holes as the leaks occur. Remember him going crazy playing in net against Spurs.

However, despite his willing, it wasn't always followed with 'able'. Its a shame as his first season was fantastic, getting the nickname 'Showboat' for his love of megging the opposite full back as he bombed down the wing. However it quickly dried up and he became very much a plan B player. His forays into playing centre mid were always met with huge groans.

Now we've got the twins, we don't overly need him as a back up full back. This could do to his career what Phil Nevilles move to Everton did for him. I wish him luck

Wes can **** off though.

A month to go, and we still need a left back, left midfielder and striker. Hmmmmmmmmmmmm

Have noticed Australian media and Liverpool fans call him "Charlie Adams". Spare me.

Add to that a reserve centre back, but cross off left midfielder! Downing! We were always going to overpay, just happy we have him.
