I've always liked Wimbledon - they made me believe that one day Reading might make the top flight - It would surely be the greatest sporting story ever if they could get to the top rung of tthe ladder again - their's will certainly be the second result I look for next season

Hargreaves to be released by Manchester United.

What a Waste!!

Hopefully is able to resurrect some of his career.

Really chuffed for AFCW. But even in their moment of glory we see the problems in the game that helped create their situation, namely a non-league final between two Southern teams held in Manchester with tickets at 40 quid a pop.

Come on, it's been the other way round more times than I care to name
This has been a party political broadcast on behalf of the "Chippy Northern Gets" party.

Tbh, I reckon the only reason Wimbledon & (boo!) Luton had to go to the dispossessed wasteland that is the bit of England above the Watford Gap is because a pitch can't be used for 14 days before the CL final. Else it'd have been Wembley. Needs to be used as much as poss to pay off the mortgage, after all.

As for "Survival Sunday", it'll be Blackpool and Brum for the arse with the Irons, IMHO. See Rovers losing, but can't see Pool or Brum getting results.

Got a relegation party happening here. Made Blackpool "We're staying up" shirts. Pix to come.

Haha yeah, pretty much. Ignorance is bliss after all. Watching the four relegation battles concurrently will be amazing but.

Who were the other teams in the playoffs? Ashburton Grove seems to me to be the most logical place to hold the final.

Yeah, I agree, if it's possible.

I don't think the semis of the FA Cup Final should be at Wembley anyway, but it seemed stupid having games like Man U V Citeh and Everton

True, but the teams aren't. In a situation where you can't use Wembley surely it makes sense to have a couple of venues sounded out depending on where the teams who make it come from?

Maybe, but then its down to last minute panic organizing when you do know the two teams, and figure out which stadium is best. The local police will love that.

End of the day, northern teams always know they've to head to London if they make the play off final. This season the southern teams knew they'd have to head to Manchester. No difference IMO.

Yeah, I agree but it's not particularly fan friendly.

£40 a ticket for 2 conference sides, if true, is a ****ing disgrace.

Price of a ticket at Old Trafford I'm afraid, costs the same amount to run the stadium whoever plays. Staff arnt going to take less pay because its a Conference game, likewise those Wimbledon fans don't earn less than a Utd fan just because of the level of their club.

Get in! Magic strike from Adam to level things @ OT.

Moves the Tangerines to safety as we stand. Wolves & the Wigs for the drop.
