Incredible how down to the letter the second team have the same problems as the first team. Size, work rate, organisation, lack of concentration in defence, no midfielder tracking back, forwards who are scared to shoot and actually giving a ****.

Saw the lineup and just laughed. We were never winning that game, probably our best shot at a trophy and we don't want it.
I'm not overly bothered tbh, a full strength team would arguably have met the same fate tonight, and Arsenal pushing for that trophy would seem a bit of a hollow victory for me seeing as how it's been treated by the club for the last decade or so. Rosicky looking totally out of depth was the worst thing for me, gave the ball away leading up to the first two goals and just generally added nothing to the team going forward, on borrowed time one feels, sadly.

Arsenal have already agreed a £1.6m deal to sign 17-year-old Brazilian wonderkid Zezinho from Juventude.

Season saved. Oh what's that? We can't bring Brazilians over until they turn 18. Okay then. Doomed.

Really, really strange decision that one - particularly when you consider that barely two months ago Fergie was talking up how much he was looking forward to having him with the squad in January. Until today it was my understanding that we actually owned Ljajic and had just loaned him back to Partizan until Jan, but now it seems that we always had an agreement saying that we could pull out of the deal at any time. I reckon either a) we've got no money, or b) Fergie has decided he's no better than what we already have and wants to save the cash for someone special in January.

The fact that we have lost against out direct rivals this season signifies that we are not very good,' Arshavin said. 'We played good football, but that is not enough. We score a lot of goals, but we always let in one or more.'

At 5ft 7in, Arshavin has his own physical limitations, but he is not the only player who is weak in the air.

'We are not good on set pieces, and that is bound up with the fact that we don't have many tall players,' he said.

'Every other team has an advantage over us in this area. Chelsea were much stronger than us when it came to physical power. Had we possessed a tall player, things would have been better for us, especially in attack. We had nobody capable of holding on to the ball.'

But the £12million signing has not lost faith in his manager, saying: 'What can we, and must we, change? Only Arsene Wenger knows.'

He's spot on, apart from the "only Arsene knows" bit. Seems to be the one deluding himself that the team is good enough.

The last 10 games we've played against Chelsea, United, Liverpool and City we've conceded 25 goals. Awesome.
