'Cause the ref claimed he had seen the Ronaldo incident so he can't be punished retrospectively. It's utter bull**** I know. The FA don't even like it (they've bypassed it before in extreme cases), but it's FIFA regulations.

The kick out at Dunn was completely innocuous though, I don't know why people take these kinds of things so seriously. If he should have been off for anything that game it should have been the dive, because that's just a blatant attempt to cheat. Don't really know why a dive is only a yellow (and even then that's rare) and innocuous handbags is usually a red.

That's not the point though, it was just as innocuous as SWP's (and SWP was provoked!) and he missed 3 games for it. Complete bull**** and you know it.
Anyway, good to go through in the Wafer and see Milan go out. We've got a good draw with Aalborg as well. We could give it a serious shake if we can manage to not concede big margins away from home in future rounds.

I agree, everybody knew this was going to be against EU laws, he blathered on about how he'd circumvented the laws, presumably paying 100s of thousands to lawyers, It was still basically against the employment. Pointless populist waste of time........

Typical Middlesbrough, useless for ages then beat a top 4 team.
Although it seems Aliadiere and Tuncay up front is making a big difference from what I saw in the FA Cup match - partly because it means Alves isn't playing.
Liverpool and the CDMs continuing to fade away as expected. They just don't have it in them to win a high percentage of games.

It seems I jumped the gun. Points are being dropped by the teams in the top half like it's going out of fashion. we definitely are still in the mixer, though rest assured I have full faith in Mr Moore delivering a 9th placed finish
