Cheers. Don't think I can do that. It is nigh on eleven now and CSPN are not showing it, so I can't be ****ed watching it on my computer screen.

Will check out Serbia and Bulgaria instead...

Alty let you drink at the ground? Didnt know that, having said that, not been there in about 8 years. Crackin little ground though, shame Alty have gone to pot over the last 6-7 years, so very close to getting league status back in the 90's

Went to Altrincham last night, to watch the mighty Luton Town win on penalties after 210 goalless minutes and a 35 minute floodlight-failure delay meaning we didn't get out of the stadium until 11.30.

I enjoyed it immensely of course. Is there any culture outside the UK who would consider this a good night out?
Ah, Jesus. You aren't a Luton Down fan, are you? There better be a bloody good excuse if you are, because they're evil incarnate.

Probably more the fact he's in Manchester at uni, and its possibly the only club that you can turn up on the day and get a ticket for (bar the mighty Trafford FC)

You're forgetting Maine Road FC.

Not in this lifetime.

Meanwhile, kudos to Big Terry Butcher for his "never forgive; never forget" stance over the fat, stumpy little Argentine drugs cheat. Turning the other cheek overrated IMHO.

James, Johnson, Terry, Upson, Bridge, Wright-Phillips, Carrick, Barry, Downing, Defoe, Agbonlahor.

England team, glad they've gone for Gabby and Bridge, less enchanted by Downing & Defoe, yet we'll see.....

No, Owen was playing alongside/infront of Heskey. Rooneys job is to create, get the ball from midfield and find a gap through the defence. Owen's role for England was Lineker-esque, touch the ball and expect a goal. He was bloody effective at it n all, could touch the ball only twice in 90 min and still get a hat-trick. During the Owen/Heskey days our creativity came from Beckham, now its Rooney having to drop back to do so.
hmm, fair enough. Stand corrected.

Jerry look a desperately mediocre team, but they did at Wembley last time and we still contrived to lose that. Keeper makes Jens Lehmann look as safe as houses.

Terry just ****ing kick it you dead set moron.

Keeper takes a little of the blame, but Terry takes the rest - someone tell the ITV idiots this.
