Haha, Gerrard isn't better than Pirlo, not by a long shot.

Pirlo's the best pure central midfielder going around at the moment, and having him at 14 is a disgrace. Shows how much of an idea the magazine have.

Arteta is great, I'd easily have him in the top 100, yeah..
i agree arteta is unlucky considering the fact that alex pato has only played a few games in brazil and is unable to play in italy till the new year so am unsure as to how he is better than one of the best creative midfielders in england

defietly disagree with this gerrard is far better than pirlo who is quite overated considering rino gattuso does all his dirty work wheras gerrard does both his attacking and defensive dutys supurbly and i believe he is the best allaround box to box midfeilder in the game today

Didn't watch any matches on saturday can anyone who saw give me run down on how Pennant, Young, James, Robinson, Taylor played?

Not to forget what a blow for Heskey, England's injury ATM is plain crazy. Just when a another top player recovers one goes down.

I dunno about any of the others, but Robinson was at least partly culpable for the Arsenal's first goal. Came charging out for a cross he had no chance of getting, leaving Adebayor with a free header into an empty net. Robinson actually ended up about three yards ahead of Adebayor, such was the speed he charged off his line. He clearly has issues with crosses.

Couldn't fault him for either of the other goals; just beautiful clean strikes.
