Fair play to ManUre; wasn't pretty but was ultimately effective. Barca had shedload of possession but never really made that gilt-edged opening. Tevez had a great game, the work he got through was amazing.
Messi's the world's most overrated player, by the way. Lots of pretty runs but can't cross a road. I'd take Chavnaldo any day of the week.

Can't say I remember him making many crosses, sounds like you just wanted to squeeze your clever little phrase in. He looked dangerous everytime he got the ball just the other attacking options were poor.
Also how dire was chief poseur when he got on? Two backpasses to the keeper and barely looked interested.

Agree with Scaly, Messi was just about their only player who scared me, personally.
Like in the Nou Camp, Ferguson got it tactically spot on, they may have had all the ball, but again they created nothing with it, we looked far more likely to get a second than they did to equalize, for most of the game. Last ten minutes were nervy as **** however.

Agreed. Was bricking it for the last 10-15, especially that Henry header....
Scholes = deserves that, may have had a shocker of a season, but 13 years of greatness and he deserves a chance to play in the final.

Yeah, that was the big problem. Could never really get the ball near the opposition goal. Even when we did the very few times, we weren't hitting shots on target mostly.

Haha. You can't be serious?
He just looked so dangerous yesterday, quite easily the most penetrating player I have ever seen when watching football (for about 7 years), looked so dangerous everytime he was on the ball. He did make a few crosses, but when you can beat defenders (and class ones at that) with the ease that he did, I couldn't care less.
