Typical of football, Roma's dirty little scumbags getting their sneaky and nasty digs and in with the usual gamesmanship and the referee always misses them, while Manure pick up yellow cards aplenty.

Anyway that fourth was somewhat inevitable.

Exceptional stuff from Man U but Roma have been ridiculously naïve tonight. Only have to look at Valencia to see how to deal with the first fifteen minutes of a game of football where the opposition want to strike earlier.

**** me. 6-0. Beyond anyone's wildest dreams. :D

That sends out a statement to the rest of Europe. Wouldn't it be great if Ole got one? :D

EDIT: And the crowd chants "Are you Citeh in disguise?"

EDIT: And Roma get one back. Comeback?

Good thing Greigys aren't awarded for football predictions.

Still wonder the Roma keeper was doing wandering about on six yards when Carrick struck. What did he expect, a cross?

Man Utd dominanted them early to get 3 goals, then Roma basically gave up and with the way United were playing it was inevitable that more goals would go in.

Smacks of Italians having no bottle in the fight. I remember Juve being unable to stomach Arsenal last year, when a couple of them lost their heads and got sent off.

I watched the second half of the Chelsea game in the end - anyone else seen Canizares' save yet? Pity from his point of view that he ruined his good work minutes later.

Sky are saying the trouble was started (or instigated) by English speaking ‘fans’ in black. AS Roma fans had a run in with the police over their objection to an arrest over one of their fans. Although, it has now escalated into a missile throwing competition once more.
Now saying that the first sign of trouble was between Roma fans and police, followed by a standoff between Roma and United supporters. One Roma fan smashed a cameraman over the head with a baton, wankers.

EDIT: United fans arrested too, however. Ban them.

Yeah, great save, **** knows how he got that over the bar. Was rather unfortunate with the bounce for Essien's late goal I thought. Although, you do expect the keeper not to beaten on his post.

Meh, what's the fuss about with that save? He gets a full hand to it, he should have palmed it away to the side but instead got lucky when most of the time that would have ended up in the roof of the net. I don't blame him much for the goal shortly after, it was hit so hard and had some top spin on it so it dipped and bounced earlier than expected. That shot would have went in what, maybe a third or a half of the time, against any goalkeeper.

Yeah just watching the highlights, wasn't even near full-stretch, would have been widely blamed if that had gone in.

Woah!! Fulham sack Coleman!!
That was hardly surprising was it. Perhaps the idea to sell Luis Boa Morte may or may not have been a wise one. At the sort of the season I wouldn't have tipped Fulham to go down, they don't have the greatest squad but it certainly isn't the worst one.

I must admit it was great disappiontment that I never got to go to Craven Cottege when I went to England in '05. Mind you given the size of the place I don't think it is hard to get lost in a city when you haven't spent not even one day in.
