I'm glad I don't have Rooney's lycanthropic hair growth, he reminds me of someone or something but I can't put a name to it. Will probably annoy me for the entire Manure game.

I've been impressed with Carrick so far, hasn't lost the ball and excellent shorter balls forward to people like Ronaldo and Rooney dropping off.

He can't tackle for crap though, he seems to lack strength.

no doubt, he is very similar attributes in his game to Pirlo, hopefully he can do that more often on the international stage.

Lehmann should be bit disappointed with the goal, but we were second best TBH.
Henry’s disallowed goal was rather contentious wasn’t it? Did not have chance to catch the replay but it looked cool to me. Always a tough ask though, CSKA at home are nigh guaranteed winnings regardless of the opposition.

Norwood's on Fire
Henry's goal did look okay, but how much of a prat is Lehmann, confronting the ref at the end? Like he could see that it wasn't a handball. Embarassing for me.

Would still expect Arsenal to qualify comfortably nonetheless.

And, prmph, dirty mancs :(

Copenhagen not so wonderful.

(sorry)
Probably the weakest opponents Manure will have all season, they're nearly as bad as Alan Smith - I don't think he'd even make the bench at Exeter City.

LMAO not even in the same league, not even close, Pirlo is a brilliant footballer, Carrick is very mediocre, in comparison, or otherwise.

Arsenal certainly not worth of a win tonight, draw perhaps, as for the last quarter of the match they were easily on top, but a pretty poor performance by their recent standards, but as TT Boy has pointed out very few teams can go to play CSKA away and come away with a result, and arsenals record in that eastern region of europe is poor anyway. Only bright sparks tonight were Gallas and Toure who were both excellent, by far the best players on the pitch for either side. Johan Djourou did ok, but both he and Hoyte looked suspect and gave the ball away far too much and looked shaky, i expect Gallas to move to centre back for the next game and Clichy to come in at left back as he did in the second half today. The rest of the team though played poorly, esspecially Gilberto who was unusually wasteful and careless in possession today, Fabregas looked more like himself in the later parts of the second half, but other than that it was a typical arsenal away day, play ok, begin to strugge, concede, struggle, nearly concede again, nearly score, end in defeat.

Oh well, not too disheartening.

I think you're being a bit tight on Carrick, even though the comparison was a shocker. :p
